ミシュラン一ツ星を獲得されている広島のフレンチ、
LeK2 (ル・カドゥ)さんへ伺いました。
お昼の来店でしたが、せっかくなので夜のコースにして頂きました。

道を挟んで向かいに系列店のワインショップもあるとのことで、
ペアリングで出して頂いたワインがどれもバッチリでした。
カウンターの背後にブルゴーニュを中心とした
沢山のワインもディスプレイされていて壮観でした!
シェフさんは肉料理の方が得意らしいですが、
お魚のメイン「真鯛と夏野菜」もとても美味しかったのです。
内観も心地よさと品があり、とても好みでした。

I went to French cuisine "Le K2" in Hiroshima City for dinner. The last time I visited was in the summer of 2018, so it's been 5 and a half years! I had a very good impression at that time, so I was looking forward to the opportunity to visit again. The dinner course starts from 9,000 yen depending on your budget (as of January 2024), but this time I requested one extra appetizer for 12,000 yen. First, we had a glass of champagne and toasted. [b:① Cauliflower and broccoli] The first dish is not positioned as an amuse-bouche but a cold dish. The refreshing taste naturally goes well with champagne. [b:② Pork and Brussels sprouts] Next is fragrant pork and gentle-tasting Brussels sprouts. I drank the champagne quickly, so from here I will go with a bottle of white wine. I told the service staff my budget, variety, and preferences, and chose this from the two bottles they suggested. (The other Leflaive that was suggested was also hard to throw away...) * Etienne Sauzet - Puligny-Montrachet 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 2018 by Etienne Sauzet, who represents the village of Puligny-Montrachet in Burgundy, France. It was exactly what I wanted, so I decided to buy it immediately. It could be a delicious wine, a wine from a winemaker I like, a wine that I have a special attachment to, anything is fine, but just having one good wine by my own standards makes the meal more lively and enjoyable, and the time is more memorable, so every time I have an experience like this, I think wine is indispensable. I am grateful to the Restaurants /service staff who immediately understand my tastes and the wine I am looking for and serve it to me, and I immediately become a fan. And the wine was also very delicious. [b:③ Rape blossoms and scallops] Although scallops are the main dish, the first thing you notice is the sweetness and umami of the sea urchin, both in appearance and taste, and then the unique texture and flavor of the scallops make this a fun dish. [b:④ Lobster and Chinese cabbage] The last appetizer is lobster. This is already a straightforward and dynamically delicious dish. It goes perfectly with Chardonnay. The best! [b:⑤ Yellowtail and radish] The fish dish is yellowtail. The radish garnish is a playful touch that touches the Japanese heartstrings, and the yellowtail and radish dish is sublimated into French cuisine cuisine, giving it a sense of style. [b:⑥ Japanese black beef and foie gras] The main dish is Japanese black beef and foie gras, which everyone will love. I know it's delicious even before I eat it. I'm sure there are reasons for purchasing, but if you make a reservation early, they can also accommodate game meat. [b:⑦ Yuzu and ginger] [b:⑧ Strawberry] Thank you for the delicious dessert. When I visited five years ago, I was impressed by the ingenuity of the way the main ingredients were prepared while skillfully using vegetables, but this has now been further refined, and each and every dish was enjoyable, delicious, and wonderful. This time, I was also pleased to choose Le Cadou, as Restaurants 's atmosphere and service were not too formal, but still had a certain elegance, making it the perfect place to dine with my dear friend.
