The opening day |
2022.7.11 |
``Bondo'' is a 2-minute walk from Hiroshima Electric Railway's Ginzancho tram stop. Opening in 2022, we have a staff of two: the owner (who trained at Musashibo for 6 years) and one male staff member. The exterior restaurant is on the first floor of the building, with a light gray tiled wall and a deep blue signboard, giving it a stylish atmosphere reminiscent of Italian Cuisine bar. The interior decoration is simple, but the deep blue color scheme and silver metallic walls create a cool atmosphere. There are 14 seats at the U-shaped counter, 4 seats at the outside wall counter, and 4 seats x 3 tables for a total of 30 seats. I changed the soupless sesame dandan noodles (3 spiciness) to udon balls (880 yen including tax) and topped them with hot balls (+150 yen including tax) for a bill of 1,030 yen. I'm considering the medium-thin noodles from Nanamo Foods (Kunimatsu affiliated factory), but in that case I think I should just go to Kunimatsu, so I decided to go with udon. The sesame soup stock contains various spices, but since I don't have a strong tolerance for spiciness, I like the 3 spiciness and the hot egg, which adds a nice roundness and richness. It has quite a strong flavor, and although my words as an amateur who doesn't use soup-based noodles don't hold much weight, I think it has a pretty good taste. I think adding white rice at the end will make it taste better. I don't, though. ( *´艸`) Anyway, thank you for the meal.
