Mediterranean cuisine centered around Spain and Italy! ! Ishioka is a tapas shop located in a back alley.
Our signature menu ① Tapa Ishioka's Ajillo made with seasonal ingredients! Ajillo oil made into a soup is healthy and easy to eat, making it a popular dish among women. ② Assorted homemade smoked item |
``Back alley tapas Ishioka'' is a 5 minute walk from the Hiroshima Electric Railway Komachi tram stop. Opened in 2013, operated by Ishioka Co., Ltd. [Representative Director: Daisuke Ishioka] The exterior has a stylish appearance with a combination of yellow signboards and black glass sashes. The interior has an exotic atmosphere with cream-colored walls, an open kitchen, wooden counters, and tiled tables. BGM is Western music (genre unknown) There are 34 seats in total, 9 at the counter and 25 at tables. The operation is run by three people: the store owner and two male staff members. The bill for food and alcohol was 5,920 yen. There are some menus where one person can be accommodated if they request [half-sized meals], but not all menus can be accommodated. Homemade smoked assortment [Half] (1,600 yen incl. tax → 960 yen incl. tax, 40% off) ① Grilled raw bacon (hickory) ② Cheese (egg) ③ Kawanaka soy sauce pickled quail egg (apple) ④ Grilled mackerel ( Sakura) ⑤Takuan (Nak) + Cheese Assortment of 3 types of Iberico pork ham [Half] (2,450 yen including tax → 1,480 yen including tax, 40% off) ⑥ Jamon Iberico ⑦ Iberico pork salami ⑧ Iberico pork chorizo Single dish ⑨ Oyster (Hiroshima Prefecture) Ajillo [Half] from Otake (Maruken Suisan) + 2 baguettes (1,680 yen including tax → 1,200 yen including tax, 30% off) ⑩ Shrimp and mizuna pasta with basil sauce (1,680 yen including tax) Alcohol ① Monteluvini Legan Dino (barrel sparkling rosé wine, Italy) (650 yen including tax) Grape varieties: Merlot, Trepiano, Pinot Bianco ② Sapporo Black Label (Draft beer, Sapporo beer) (600 yen including tax) Thankfully, except for the pasta, they are available for one person. [Half] was provided. It's also expensive if it's a la carte. It seems to be a better deal if you visit with a group of about 4 people and order a course. The food was a Spanish bar, so the menu was paired with alcohol, so the flavor was strong. What impressed me most was the owner's attentiveness and high level of hospitality. I don't think this level of consideration is ever given. It was a feast.
