Vegetable Meat Roll Rice Bowl (800 yen) Visited for lunch. We entered restaurant, located in the back of the building, and were seated at a table. The lunch menu consists of three types of dishes: vegetable meat roll rice bowl, mixed fry set meal, and hashed rice, all priced at the same 800 yen with miso soup, salad, and savory dishes. The main dish here is the vegetable meat roll, so I ordered the vegetable meat roll bowl without hesitation. The bowl is filled with a variety of vegetables and other ingredients wrapped around pork, including lettuce, komatsuna, enoki mushrooms, quail eggs, and cod roe on a skewer. Chopped shiso leaves are spread on top, and shredded cabbage is spread between the rice, providing a solid vegetable intake. The flavorful pork belly, grilled over charcoal in a sweet and spicy sauce that tastes like kabayaki, spreads its flavor. The lettuce is crispy and has a great texture, and the cod roe is moist and outstandingly delicious. The shiso leaves and cabbage accentuate the flavor, making this a healthy bowl of rice with the perfect balance of meat and vegetables. Delicious.
