豚玉そば、チーズトッピング。
ひとりでふらっと入りカウンター席へ。
普段酒を飲まないのでお好み焼だけを注文したが、店員さんは嫌な顔ひとつせず、快く対応してくれました。
カウンター席の前には奥行き深めの鉄板。対してカウンターの奥行きは狭め。こういうのって何か寸法の規格があるのかないのか、ふと気になったが、カウンター奥行き狭目の方が、鉄板上に給仕されたお好み焼をヘラで切って鉄板から取り皿に乗せやすい。
味は確かに美味い。豚肉のサイズと厚みはしっかり大きいし、特にそばが美味く感じた。オタフクソース、マヨネーズ、青のりなどの調味料はカウンターに置くスペースはないので鉄板上に置かれている！特にマヨネーズは熱で傷まないのかと心配にもなるが、自分で追いソースマヨネーズしても、鉄板で温められているおかげで、主役のお好み焼が冷めることがなく、思いがけずグッドアイデア！
一点、そばやトッピングチーズは生地の下に隠れて見えないが、食べ進むと、そばが麺がくっついて塊のまま現れ、チーズの混ざり方もけっこうムラがあった。
まあ、これも愛嬌か。マスターは、調理がひと段落すると、常連なのか飲み客に混じってコミュニケーションしていて、愛されてる感じでほんわか。
