On the last day of my two-night trip to Hiroshima, I went to Hiroshima Castle and Peace Memorial Park for the first time in the morning. Hiroshima Castle, which was destroyed by the atomic bomb and restored in 1958, was magnificent! And the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park were visited by many foreigners and Japanese people. After leaving the hotel at around 8 o'clock and walking around for about two and a half hours, I was on my way to Hiroshima Station wondering if there was an Okonomiyaki restaurant open somewhere? And then this one was open! They open at 9:30. I entered the restaurant around 10:30 and they welcomed me with no other customers. They showed me to a table by the window and I ordered a deluxe Okonomiyaki with Hiroshima Oyster (3 pieces) for 1,650 yen and a medium Kirin Lager draft beer for 600 yen. Okonomiyaki was served about 7 minutes after I ordered it. The moist thin noodles were delicious. It was a delicious Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki with fluffy cabbage. The flavor of the sauce was just right, and I ordered another glass of draft beer and it was delicious all at once♪♪ Oyster were small in size, or maybe it was a complimentary gift? I don't know, but I got four. The rating on Tabelog was a little low, so I wondered what to expect, but I'm glad I ate here! There were lots of signs saying that Hiroshima Toyo Carp and former players often visit (^^)
