宿泊していた大手町のホテルで前日の晩に翌日の朝食を追加しようとしたら満席で断られてしまい、朝から広島市の中心部を徘徊。まだ6時過ぎでしたので車も人も殆どおらず、気持ちよくウォーキングを楽しみます。
本通りのアーケードから逸れて歩いていると、まだ空が薄暗いなか煌々と照らされる『松屋』の文字。県文の隣にあるこちらのお店の前はしょっちゅう通るのですが、入った事が無かったな。朝飯はこちらで決まりです。
店内は長方形のレイアウトでなかなかの大箱。出入口も２か所あり、手前にも奥にもズラリとカウンター席やテーブル席が並んでおります。
『ソーセージエッグ定食／ミニ牛皿／450円』
松屋で朝定を頼む時はいつもお気に入りのソーセージエッグ定食。吉野家の納豆牛小鉢くらい好きなメニューです。買った瞬間、自動で厨房に注文が伝わるシステムで、番号を呼ばれたらピックアップしに行くセルフスタイル。
内容は、粗挽きソーセージ、目玉焼き、牛小鉢、ミニサラダ、お新香、海苔、ご飯、お味噌汁。450円で申し訳なくなるような豪華なラインナップですな。
いつも通り、ご飯の半分をソーセージと目玉焼きで頂き、残りの半分には牛小鉢を投入してミニ牛丼を楽しみます。朝から嬉しい二毛作。
吉野家もすき家もなか卯も同様のパターンで楽しむのですが、それぞれのチェーンの特徴が出ていて面白い。松屋は甘めの牛小鉢と非常に塩からいお新香のコントラストが好き。朝からご飯大盛りでもペロリといけちゃいそうな質の高さでした。
