滞在しているホテルのすぐそばで以前から入りたいと思っていた。13:00すぎ、お店の客は僕を除いて全員女性である。前菜、メイン、デザート、飲み物、パンorライス類からチョイスするランチコースにした。
前菜はムール貝とサーモンのサラダ。見た目が美しくドレッシングが美味しい。
メインはハンバーグ。赤ワインのソースと思うがかなり塩分が高い。肉の味は良いがソースとのバランスは欠いている。付け合わせのジャガイモとキノコのソテーはシャンピニオンの香りをまとわされていて美味しい。
主食はライスを選んだ。炊き方が良くない。水分が多く、冷や飯をスチームしたの？という印象だ。
デザートは抹茶ショコラ。抹茶とショコラのバランスは今ひとつ。糖分ひかえめの抹茶アイスは好感持てるがそれならもっとチョコの味わいを全面に出さないとと感じる。
値段には残念ながら見合っていない。広島は観光地なのだと今更ながらに実感した。
ただ一つ、フロアの女性スタッフはとても感じがいい方々であることは明記しておきたい。
