KUNIMAX（750円）、半ライス（100円）
ランチで訪問。道すがら歩いていると、幟に記載してある身に覚えのない「汁なし担担麺」の文字が目に留まり、目的地とは違ったが吸い込まれるように入店。店員さんに聞くと６月に新規オープンしたばかりの新店舗とのことで、厨房の設備も店内の什器も真新しく気分よく券売機でメニューを確認。
とはいえ確認するまでもなく、入店する時点から決めていたKUNIMAXのボタンを押下。同時に半ライスも合わせて購入。KUNIMAXは汁なし担担麺の４辛を超える花椒の痺れを前面に押し出したキレのある辛味とたっぷりの刻み青ネギが特徴的。
青ネギで覆われているものの、到着と同時に花椒の清涼感のあるいい香りが漂ってくる。早速、具材と辛味ダレ、そして麺が馴染むように20〜30回混ぜ合わせると、ぷつぷつとした歯切れの良い食感の麺に、ラー油ベースの辛味ダレと花椒の痺れの麻辣の刺激がフィットする。具材の挽き肉と大量に入った青ネギのアクセントもマッチしていい感じ。途中で卓上の黒酢を入れ、酸味を加えた味変を楽しみつつ麺を完食。
残ったタレと具材に半ライスを投入。担担麺のタレの酢で味を整えながら、担担ライスとして全てを余すことなく完食完飲。
