餃子定食（780円）
ランチで訪問。ピークを過ぎた時間帯に伺ったため先客はなく、貸切状態の中で店奥のテーブル先に案内いただき着席。炒飯と麻婆豆腐の組み合わせのこうちゃんセットや中華麺セット、カレーまぜそばなど魅力的なメニューがラインナップされている中、やはり餃子のお店ということでシンプルに餃子定食をオーダー。すると「餃子はら今から焼くので少しお時間かかります」とのこと。
勝手に期待を膨らましながら待つこと10分程度で到着。定食はメインの焼き餃子にライスとスープ、もやしナムルの小鉢、杏仁豆腐のセットにまさかの水餃子も付き。これはありがたいサプライズ。
大根おろし、ネギ、大葉の薬味が入った器に餃子のタレを入れて早速いただく。焼き餃子は綺麗な羽根つきで、焼き目はパリッと香ばしく、逆サイドはもっちりふっくらした口当たりで、食感のコントラストが堪らなく、肉と野菜の対比の良い餡との合わせが抜群。勢い余って一気に食べ切りそうになるおいしさ。
慌てて水餃子を頬張ると、焼き餃子以上に柔らかくもっちりした皮の中には、スープがたっぷり含まれており熱々ジューシーなおいしさが弾ける。食べ応えもあって旨い。
嬉しいことにライスは大盛り仕様になっており、焼き餃子、水餃子ともタイミングよく食べ進め、バランスよく完食。
