I often use this restaurant when I visit Hiroshima. This time, I held a celebration with some business associates. The weather was reminiscent of early summer, so the cold draft beer for the toast was very delicious. The appetizer was two dishes using fish eggs (sea bream roe?). The meal started with sashimi. At this point, I had already finished the beer and moved on to sake. I ordered Dassai, and had sea bream with a strong kelp flavor, well-marinated mackerel, and horse mackerel. After the sashimi, I had Tempura with salt, followed by fish dishes, and halfway through, I switched to sake from Kure, "Amago no Tsuki". For vegetables, the bamboo shoots mixed with dried mullet roe gave me a spring feeling, and both the taste and texture were excellent. I then moved on to Meat Dishes and had charcoal-grilled Cow tongue. I wanted a sour drink to go with the meat, so although it wasn't on the menu, they made me a lemon sour. It's a crisp sour with no sweetness, made with vodka, soda, and a squeeze of lemon. I got carried away and said it would be nice if it had mint, and they responded to my selfish drinker's whims with "Yes, we have!" I'm sorry. If you tap the mint leaves on your palm and put them in the glass, it will feel even more refreshing. This sour goes really well with the thick Cow tongue, and after Cow tongue, we had charcoal-grilled skirt steak, stewed meat dishes, and other Meat Dishes with the refreshing sour. I'm always satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
