Momiji pork cutlet curry from Hiroshima Prefecture, medium spicy
Since I was nearby for work, I decided to have "Curry & Bar Sunflower" for lunch today. We arrived at the restaurant just before 12:00, and at this point all the tables were occupied and only two of the four counter seats were vacant. It was nice to be able to sit down without having to wait. Looking at the menu, there are many types of curry, including spring-only curry. However, since I'm a gourmet person, I didn't have to worry about it and opted for Hiroshima prefecture Momiji pork cutlet curry, which was medium spicy. When I looked at the toppings, there was a lot of roux and a large bowl of rice, so this was a must. I also order it with a salad. After about 3 minutes, the salad was served first. The salad includes lettuce, mizuna, and grapefruit. The dressing had a good taste, so I was able to enjoy it. The cutlet curry is ready 8 minutes after ordering. Rice and roux are served separately. The roux is simmering and looks hot. Pour some on top of Pork Cutlet and start eating. When you eat it, it's a curry that doesn't feel like you're eating curry. It seemed like a curry that would be served in Indonesia or Thailand, though I've never eaten it. It's just an image in my mind. The curry is light and chewy, with a strong sourness. I made it medium spicy, but it doesn't feel too spicy. As delicious as Pork Cutlet was, I wish I had eaten it with a stronger roux curry. The one I ate this time was a European-style curry base, so I think I'll come back tomorrow and try the spice curry base.

The next day, I came back to Curry & Bar Sunflower. I arrived just before 12:00, same as yesterday, but the store was full of customers. After waiting at the table for about 10 minutes, I was able to enter the store. I ordered the manager's recommended parent bird keema curry and salad, which use two types of curry: spice curry base and European style curry base, and a salad. The salad is served in about 3 minutes, and the dressing is as delicious as ever. The chicken keema curry is ready 10 minutes after ordering. This curry has keema curry poured over rice from the beginning. It's also attractive that there's a hot egg in the center. When I ate it, it had a strong taste and the texture and taste of minced chicken was delicious. It goes well with rice, and you can eat it with a spoon. I regret not having more rice and roux this time. I didn't want it to be the same as yesterday, so I ordered it as is. If you break the hot balls after eating half of them, the taste will be mellow and easy to eat. Well, this chicken keema curry was recommended by the manager, and it was delicious. Next time I come to eat, I'll order the chicken keema curry with extra roux and a large bowl of rice. I won't eat anything else other than this, it was so delicious.
