広島駅新幹線口ekie一階の人気のお好み焼き屋さん。
一階にはお好み焼き屋が数軒並びますが、ランチタイムにはその中でも長い列が出来、人気もトップクラスの様です。
老舗であるので、そういう意味では実際のクオリティや味わいよりも認知度と値段が人気に結びついているのかもしれません。
今回はピークのランチタイムを外して15時台に訪問です。
この時間はほとんど店の前に列が出来る事は無く、カウンターもテーブルも席は空いています。
目の前で焼いているのを眺められるのもありますし、鉄板から直接、頂けるカウンターへ。カウンターでも皿に盛ったものを頂く事も出来ますが、常に温かいものを頂ける鉄板がオススメです。
席に着いて、注文を済ませて、先ずはビールを。色々な好みに合わせてなのか、各社のものを揃えている様です。
かなり冷やしての提供で、暑い時期じゃなくても、熱気のある鉄板前の席で頂くには嬉しい。
オーダーから約15分でお好み焼きが提供。
予め切られてはいないので、手頃なサイズに自分で切って、手元の皿に移しながら頂きます。
ソースは3種類用意されていますが、既に黄色の甘口のソースが塗られています。
他の2種類も試しましたが、オリジナルのものはスパイシー過ぎるし、辛口の赤い蓋のものは合わないと感じ、ほとんどを甘口で頂きます。
ただ、途中で飽きてしまう感じもあり、全体としてはイマイチ。
具材や麺の味わいがシンプル過ぎるせいもあるかもしれません。キャベツにも甘みを感じませんでした。
以前に頂いた二階の電光石火の方が味わい的には上だと思います。
値段が重視なら、こちらのお店がいいかもしれませんが、個人的には何故人気なのか疑問に感じました。
並んでまでは頂こうと思いませんし、列が出来ていなくても、残念ながら、利用する価値はあまり感じませんでした。
