蒸し暑い午前11時前に店前を徒歩で通りかかると鼻腔直撃する香りが。
［OPEN］の看板がかかっていたので入店。
店員さんが笑顔で迎えて貰えました。
『スペシャルセット（990円）』
ライスとナンとサラダとチキンティッカが付いていて、
カレーは9種類から2つ、ドリンクは7種類から、辛さは5段階から選べます。
ほうれん草チキンカレー&シーフードカレーで辛さは真ん中の中辛。
ドリンクは冷たいチャイにしました。
サラダとチャイがすぐに運ばれてきたので食べていると厨房からパン！パン！と聞こえる。
「あぁ、今インドカレー屋さんに来てるんだな。」と実感する音。
その後、セットが揃うまで5分もかからなかったので早いです。
バターでシットリしているナンをちぎると熱々。
一口目はシーフードカレーから頂くと甘いなぁ…と感じたと思うと急にめっちゃ辛い。
甘さと辛さが絶妙なバランス。
ほうれん草チキンカレーはモッタリ青臭すぎないほうれん草とチキンのコクがちょうど良い。
ターメリックライスは長粒種米がバターを吸っていて美味しい。
今まで食べたインドカレーのお店のライスで一番美味しいと思ったほど。
ライスをシーフードカレーと食べてみるとカレーの甘さが少ししつこく感じた。
ほうれん草チキンカレーと食べてみると風味が広がりこれはとても美味しい。
チキンティッカはそんなに好きではなかったのですが、こちらのは柔らかく味が染みていてイメージが変わりました。
ナンを食べ終わる頃店員さんが「ナンのおかわりどうですか？」と聞いてくれたのでハーフでおかわりもらいました。
ライスももう少し食べたかったのでおかわりをお願いすると、なんと平皿で大盛りで登場（笑）
インドカレーはお腹いっぱい食べても胃もたれしないのがいい。
