This was the last day of my trip to Hiroshima. I had a lot to see on my last day, visiting castles, the Peace Memorial Park, and so on. And it was so much!? Before leaving Hiroshima, I decided to eat Okonomiyaki at the last minute, so I stopped by Hiroshima no Kaze Ekie, located in Ekie, which is directly connected to Hiroshima Station. The menu outside was almost the same as the one inside the restaurant. There were plenty of tempting dishes, such as Tsukemen (Dipping Nudle) and steamed Oyster, but I wanted to eat this at the end of my stay in Hiroshima?! (Hmm? Maybe I would have preferred the steamed Oyster?!) I decided to have the Hiroshima Okonomiyaki "Nikutama Soba" for 990 yen. Since I was alone, I was shown to a counter seat, but what about the interior? Did they use a proper iron plate at the counter before?? You can see a mannequin cooking Okonomiyaki right in front of you. It was quite lively. I waited for a while, and when it came out, it was just lightly coated with sauce. However, as a sauce and mayonnaise lover, I wanted more! I wanted to enjoy the well-cooked Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) and juicy cabbage with a very rich sauce and plenty of mellow mayonnaise!! There was no mayonnaise on the counter, but I asked the waiter and he brought it over. I immediately ordered more. The last Okonomiyaki in Hiroshima was simple but classic and very delicious♪
