I stopped in for a slightly late lunch (after having a non-alcoholic toast with raw Oyster and gansu (?) in Miyajima...). It was my first time to try Fuchuyaki, so I bombarded the waiter with questions, but they happened to have a great value lunch set, so I ordered that. I ordered Nikutama Soba (Kuroyaki) and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles). The Kuroyaki is slow-cooked to become crispy, so I had to wait a while, but it came on a hot plate. The Kuroyaki was made with minced meat as described on the menu, and was crunchy and fragrant. Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) had slightly thin noodles, and the taste was average. One thing that bothered me was that even though they had taken the trouble to serve it on a hot plate, the hot plate wasn't hot at all, which left me wondering why the hot plate? (゚o゚;;
