I went to Quercul in Minami-ku Minamimachi. The restaurant is called Healthy Dining Kitchen and the entrance is decorated with an Italian flag. I entered the restaurant and sat at a counter seat that was barely empty. The number of seats was limited because of the partitions and spacing. For lunch, you can choose between curry, meat, or fish as the main dish. Today's meat is oven-baked chicken, and the fish is mackerel stewed in tomato sauce. If you're not sure which one to choose, you can choose half of both main dishes. I'm greedy, so I chose both main dishes for lunch. You can use the GOTO meal ticket for 1,200 yen. You can choose between rice or bread, so I chose rice this time and hot coffee for my drink. From what I read in the reviews, it seems they used to have a salad All-you-can-eat buffet, but now it comes on a single plate as an appetizer platter. It can't be helped in these times. Each appetizer was pre-cooked and just ready to be served, but they were very particular about how they arranged the dishes. They were polite, efficient, and fast. The kitchen was also kept clean, which I thought was amazing. The appetizers included some vegetables I'd never seen before, but they were delicious even for me, who hates vegetables. I've never eaten them before, so I'm not sure if they're healthy (lol). The main dish came after the first two servings, about 7-8 minutes later. The chicken was baked in the oven, so it was fragrant, odorless, and soft. The mackerel stewed in tomato was mackerel placed on top of daikon radish, and although it stood up firmly, it was surprisingly easy to cut with a knife and had a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The sourness of the tomato was suppressed, but the umami remained, and it's no wonder that the stew is recommended. You can have as much rice and bread as you want, but the bread is reheated in the oven after you order, so it's best to ask for more if you still feel like you can eat it before you finish it. After we finished eating, we were given coffee. Also, although it wasn't on the menu, they also offered baked goods, which was a nice service. I'm glad I chose coffee, it's bound to go well with it. It was a shame that the rice and pumpkin soup were brought several minutes before the main course arrived. However, it was a perfect lunch with fast delivery and freshly made food. When I paid, there was an explanation about the stamp rally, and there were some shops on my list, so I thought I'd collect the stamps.
