朝からJR西日本のサイコロきっぷで呉の予定でしたが、大和ミュージアムとかに嫁さんが興味ないので、広島駅で先をキャンセルして宮島へ向かいランチで利用しました。
宮島のあなごめしは「うえの」があまりにも有名ですが島内ではこちらが有名です。
平日で厳島神社の参拝客も比較的少ない時間帯ですが、11時開店の10分すぎくらいに行くとテーブル席に座れましたがほぼ満席で、早めに入店して良かったです。
料理はメニューがあなごめしと牡蠣フライに絞っているみたいで、以前のメニューでは牡蠣めしや牡蠣の唐揚げなど変わったメニューもありましたが、全てなくなっており牡蠣めしを食べたかったですがざんねんです。
そして、恐ろしく早くサーブされました。
注文して1分くらいだったので王将もびっくりですね。
私はあなごめし2480円、嫁さんは牡蠣フライ定食1780円です。
このあたりのあなごめしは焼きが主流と思っていましたが、こちらは焼いたあとに器ごと蒸しているみたいで煮穴子のようでふっくらしています。
美味しくてうなぎより安いのですが、ええ値段しますね。観光地なので仕方ないですが。
嫁さんの牡蠣フライを1つもらいましたが、美味しく揚がっていました。
以前から行きたかった店なので、行けて良かったです。
