Visited for lunch while visiting the Shimose Museum of Art. I visited after 1:00 pm, so it was safe to go without a reservation. The recommended menu, rather than the grand menu, is interesting. I chose the clam gozen because it was on the spring menu, but before we started cooking, the chef told us that he was going to cook the clams right now! He showed me the clams in the net. You can choose between steamed with sake or stir-fried with butter. Baked with butter is the best. My friend chose the salt-grilled Chinook, and I was surprised to find that the entire fish was grilled, and although I only had a small portion of it, the meat was so fluffy and the amount of salt was perfect...I felt like I hadn't eaten such delicious grilled fish in a while. . The store clerk is also nice. The French cuisine Restaurants at the Shimose Museum of Art is expensive and you can't afford it, but it's worth the walk and I highly recommend it!
