JR山陽本線福山駅から徒歩10分の「cafe＆pub kensington(カフェ&パブ ケンジントン)」さん。
2014年開業、カフェタイムだったので店主さんのワンオペ。
店舗外観は福山市大黒町の商店街は赤煉瓦造りの建物で揃える様な過去の取り組みがあったそうです。
そこに英国から教会の扉を船便で取り寄せて設置するなど拘りが半端無いです。
この街造り自体がこのアイリッシュパブのためだったんじゃ？と思うくらいしっくりきています。
店内装飾もここは英国なの？と思うくらい作り込まれています。
1階カウンター4席、テーブル4席×4卓、2階にも20席程度あるようで合計40席。
もうお腹いっぱいだったので雰囲気を楽しむためにビールだけ頂きました。

①デ・モーレン・ヒーン＆ウィーア・トリペル(瓶ビール、オランダ)(税込1,100円)
しっかりしと苦みと砂糖由来の甘みが混在するビールで日本のビールとは味わいが全く異なります。
