かつて石見銀山で採れた銀の集積中継地として栄え、幕府直轄の天領として代官所がおかれたという広島は府中市上下町。面白い地名だなぁと思ったら、日本海側と瀬戸内海側に流れる分水嶺があることから、水が上下に分かれる地という意味で名付けられたと云う説もあり。パックケース入り、700円（税込）。ほか、箱入りあり。
これ、…袋を開けた途端、香りが凄い…！！！そして、どっしり感もあるなと思ったら、もうしっとりを通り越してびっしゃり。先代が尾道の洋菓子店で修行した折、フランスの焼き菓子「サバラン」をベースに、地元の人にも受け入れやすいようカステラにラム酒とブランデーのシロップをたっぷり含ませたアレンジを発売。
上下町の隣にある世羅産の新鮮な高原たまごをふんだんに使用、シロップは、国内でもあまり流通していない希少なラム酒に２種類のブランデーをブレンドしているそう。そして職人さんが毎日生地を一枚一枚丁寧に焼き上げ、一つ一つ手作業でシロップに漬け込んでいるとか。かなりアルコールが効いているので、是非オトナな皆さんのお茶うけに。ご馳走様でしたー！！
