尾道という街は、とても雰囲気の良い街で気に入りましたが、ひとつ大問題があります。それは観光シーズンにおける食事場所です。尾道ラーメンや広島風お好み焼き、海鮮系のお店は行列が凄くて、なかなか食事にありつけません。そこで狙い目は、洋食屋さんとなるわけで、偶然発見したのがこちらのお店です。店名にもひかれました。
カウンターに案内されて、ランチメニューから、カカオカレーランチ（1,320円税込）を選びました。なぜカカオかというと、尾道水道を渡った向島にあるチョコレート工場で出たカカオの殻を再利用しているからだそうです。
10分ぐらいでカレーが到着しました。カレーはポークカレーで、凄く柔らかく煮込まれています。彩り野菜は後乗せで見た目も美しいです。カレールーはちょっと辛めですが、コクがあって後味にほんのりチョコの香りと若干の苦味も感じます。スープも優しい味で丁寧に作っていることが良くわかります。
見る限り、3名の女性スタッフさんで切り盛りされているようでお忙しそうでしたが、笑顔が素敵な方でした♪ ご馳走さまでした。
