尾道駅に隣接したビルの2階にある、揚げたての天ぷらを食べさせてくれる福岡式のお店です。
平日のお昼前に伺いました。
11:45頃でしたが、席は7割埋まっていました。
福岡式天ぷら店というと、シンプルな内装が思い浮かびますが、ここは少々高級な感じで
落ち着きます。
お品書きもそば屋さんなどにある感じで、”和”の感じで中身も写真入りで丁寧に書かれて
いて好感が持てます。
地元のあなごの天ぷらなども楽しめます。
私は、税込890円の定食をいただきました。小鉢を2品メニューの中から自由に選ぶことが出来、
味噌汁とごはんがついています（ごはんは、白米と五穀ごはんから選べます）。
普通の福岡式ですと、アルミのバットの上に次々に天ぷらが載せらせますが、ここはお店の内装と
同じようにちょっと和食店っぽい器で出してくれます。
お漬物などは、テーブルの上にあり自由にいただくことが出来ます。
あれよあれよという間に、野菜、えびなどの天ぷらが揚がってきます。
揚げたてですので、衣サクサクのおいしい天ぷらをいただくことが出来ました。
お会計はテーブル会計、このあたりも、福岡式天ぷら店とは一線を画すところでしょうか？
メニューを見ると日本酒類も揃っているようでしたので、ゆっくりといただくこともできるのでしょう。
次回は、夜に訪問してみたいと思います。
かき揚げ天丼も捨てがたかったなぁ～
