2014.10.28 Business trip to Higashihiroshima City with my boss. I checked in at the business hotel around 8pm and immediately went out to eat dinner. The area I learned about at Bijiho seems to be full of chain stores. We've come this far, so it's boring. I've bookmarked this in advance. When I entered the store, there were two empty seats at the counter. First, draft beer. I hadn't eaten anything since lunch, so I felt depressed. It's been a while since beer tasted good. It was quite chilly, so what's the best way to warm up quickly? When I asked, well, it doesn't take that long to do anything. I was told. Then, I tried the horumon dengaku, which seems to be recommended, and the soup-wrapped egg mentaiko that was mentioned in other people's reviews. It doesn't take much time though. The wait was long enough, but first we had the Hormone Dengaku. The quantity is not large. It is lightly seasoned with salt, has no odor, and has a delicious soupy feel. As others have said, the soup-wrapped egg also has a nice chewy texture from the mentaiko. Unlike mentaiko omelet, it's not wrapped in mentaiko, but mixed with egg and fried mentaiko. Let's have some lemon chuhai right away. I thought it was cheap at 300 yen, but there was a lot of ice and there wasn't much room for drinking. Well, is it a fair price? This was a little disappointing. It seemed like it would take a surprisingly long time to cook, so I ordered additional butter-grilled oysters and chashu salad. The oysters are not large, but they are delicious. The char siu salad is a hit. The amount was reasonable, and the chashu tasted like ham. Lastly, we had sweet and spicy fried chicken and fried burdock. Both of these were delicious. CP was also good. I paid for about 6 glasses of lemon chuhai, and my boss paid for about 3 glasses. At just over 6,000 yen for two people, it's still cheap. I'm glad I researched it before my trip.
