[Sake festival will be held on October 12th and 13th‼] We are now accepting reservations for the delicious sake hotpot.
[Near Saijo Station] Enjoy a party with our proud Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot), made with tender domestic small intestines, and local Saijo sake. [Bishu Nabe] 1,500 yen per person, 2-hour table limit. Mo |
I don't know when it opened, but it's near the food stall village at Saijo Station. It seems that the name is "Kazumaru," which is the Japanese character for "Japanese" surrounded by a circle. The sign of the restaurant has "Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot)" written in large letters, which is easy to understand. The restaurant is spacious, with about six seats at the counter and many small private rooms. If they were connected, it seems like it could accommodate a lot of people. The menu focuses on Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot), but they also have sashimi and other dishes. The basic hot pot (motsu, cabbage, bean sprouts, and chives) is 1,080 yen per person, and you can top it with your favorite ingredients as you like. You can choose from two types of soup stock: soy sauce and miso. Today, I ordered soy sauce and added chicken thighs (400 yen), which was quite a large portion. The motsu has a crisp texture and is sweet and delicious. I actually didn't like motsunabe that much, but this one was delicious. Other chicken and vegetables were also delicious, and I enjoyed it until the end without getting bored because the soup stock was good. I also ordered tofu, Champon noodles, and rice porridge for the final course, all of which were satisfactory. I wanted to order some other dishes, but they were a little more expensive than the hotpot, so I was hesitant. Next time I'd like to try the miso flavor.
