Today's early morning walk took me to Sapporo Station. I had planned to have a short break at a soba noodle restaurant, but unfortunately it was closed for the New Year holidays. I didn't have much time before my scheduled train, so I went to Nakau Sapporo Station Underground Mall Store (Nakau). They had a morning set, but I decided to go for the limited-time salmon roe bowl. It was served with fried chicken and a can of beer. The can of beer was Kirin Ichiban Shibori. It's not super late at night, but early morning beer is still delicious. The fried chicken was well prepared, but it went great with the beer. The salmon roe was larger than I expected and was quite delicious. It's self-service, but there are so many inbound tourists that the system has collapsed. There are dishes left all over the place after eating. I felt that an inbound couple eating salmon roe bowls next to a Japanese solo man eating his breakfast in a hurry is a symbol of modern Japan. Well, it's almost time for the train. Let's put it down properly and head to the platform. Thank you for the meal.
