GTEいってみました。
後から思えば、出だしから嫌な雰囲気が漂っていたんです。
予約時間ちょうどに到着したのに席が用意できていません。
でも、まあそーゆーこともあるさ。
「あと2分お待ちいただければ広いお席を用意できますがぁ」って言うので待ちます。
5分後に通された広い席に愕然とします。どこが広いんじゃ！3人で行って4人掛けのテーブル席。しかも椅子同士の間隔はゼロ。ビッチビチです。隣のテーブルとの間隔は定規一本分くらいです。2分待たなかったら、どんな席に案内する積もりだったのでしょう。
感染対策してますって言うから着たのに。お店の姿勢が分かる瞬間です。
帰ろうかとも思いましたが、連れもいるので我慢します。
注文しようとメニューを見ると、料理の種類が余りにも少ないのに2度目の驚きです。紙のメニューには、ウェブページのメニューの3割くらいしか載っていません。目的のUFOフォンデュも載っていません。
仕方がないのでスマホでメニューを確認しながら注文します。気分はダダ下がりです。
海鮮サラダに牛タン塩焼き、牛肉陶板焼きに話題のUFOフォンデュをオーダー。
海鮮サラダ...ハズレではないが当たりでもない普通です。
牛タン塩焼きは塩と胡椒だらけ。肉の甘み旨みが分かりません。
牛肉陶板焼き...焼き過ぎでパッサパサになっちゃってます。
UFOフォンデュは、鉄鍋の外周にタレと塩のザンギが並んでいて、中央部分の溶けたチーズに絡めて食べるフォンデュです。チーズフォンデュが不味いわけないのですが、世の中そんなにうまくいきません。
兎に角ザンギがダメです。しょっぱいです。水を飲みながらじゃなきゃ食べられません。しかも揚げすぎていて、水分が全部飛んでカリカリです。噛むと上顎に刺さるくらいです。自分で作っても100倍は美味くなると思います。
余りにしょっぱいのでライスを注文したら、団子になったご飯が出てきました。箸でひと口分をつまむのが難しいなんて...これで一杯400円は二度と食べないなぁ。
コース中心のお店なのでしょうかね、単品で頼むと驚異的に高いです。味を度外視しても半額から6割くらいが妥当な価格設定です。
最近この手のお店に当たったことがなかったので驚きましたが、幾つになっても新たな経験ができるんですね。
