《 2014年07月 初訪 》
さっぽろファクトリーから創成川方面へ夕刻の涼風を楽しみながらフラフラと散策、暑気払いにビールでもと思いＭ’ｓ二条横丁の「ビアバーノースアイランド」へ。
と思ったのだが、階段を上がるとお向かいになんとなく良さげなお店があるではないか。
ちょうど店員さんが立て看板を持って出てきたとろこに出くわし、「どうぞどうぞ」と誘われるままに店内へ。
（まあ、ノースアイランドビールはまたの機会に・・・）
どんな店かも判らずに入ったのだが、どうやら串かつメインのバーらしく、「串カツ バルスタイル ＨＡＮＡ」とある。
どうやら、大阪風の串かつをバルスタイルで・・・という事らしい。
店員の説明を受けると、テーブルチャージが２種類あり、テーブルの立ち飲みは１００円、カウンターの椅子席は３００円のチャージ料が掛かるとのこと。
とりあえずはゆっくりしたいのでカウンターの椅子席へ。
まずは飲み物、カウンターに置かれたドリンクメニューからハイボールをチョイス（実はこの時点ではノースアイランドにも寄る気でいたのでビール以外から）。
串かつはカウンターにある注文用紙に種類と値段が書かれており、数を書き込んで渡すスタイルで、最初に砂肝、豚肉、鶏肉の大葉巻きを頼んだ。
明確に記憶していないのだが、串カツはざっと３０種類弱程度ほど有っただろうか？
ひと串８０円からで、１５０円までがメニューの６～７割りを占めたように思う。
後は２５０円、３５０円？などというものも有ったが、他にもおでんを置いている。
串カツとおでん以外のフードメニューはカウンター上の黒板に書かれているが、それほど種類は多くなく、しかも見にくい。
正直、ここは改善点のように感じたのだが、黒板メニューはそれとして、フードメニューに併記してくれたほうが客には親切な気がする。
本格的な串かつの店は初めて入ったが、テレビなどで良く見るようにソースは二度付け禁止とのこと。
出てきた串かつをどっぷりと浸けていただくとなかなか旨い。
ボリュームはいま一つに感じたが、串かつ屋として標準なのかどうか、何しろ初串かつ屋だけに他との比較が出来ない。
続いて頼んだのはウインナー、牛肉、アスパラベーコン巻きの３種。
結局、串かつ６本、飲みもの２杯、ほかに酢もつにテーブルチャージで二千五百円前後だったろうか。
リーズナブルとは言い難いが、まずまずといったところ。
店内は７～８名が座れるカウンターに立ち飲み用のテーブルが２つほど有っただろうか。
他にもテラス席もあるらしい。
帰宅後、ネット検索してみたところ、どうやら札幌市北区にある串かつ店「串カツはな」の姉妹店との事だ。
この７月１日にオープンとの事で、営業を初めてまだ３週間ほどのようである。
なかなか居心地も良く、機会があればまた訪れてみても良いかな。
