Sapporo is a hotspot for curry. When I come here on a business trip, the first thing that comes to mind is Soup Curry, and when I move to a nearby area, the next thing that comes to mind is Professor En○'s unique Hokkaido curry. That's right. This is an Indian Curry restaurant. I'll confess that I was interested in it, but I never went there. Because there's nothing Hokkaido-like about it. However, I couldn't help but have naan in my mouth, so I visited the other day, but I underestimated this place...but it's delicious! I had a slightly better lunch plate (one that comes with a drink and chicken, about 1,300 yen), but it was an overwhelming value for money. First of all, the lassi was what I thought was really good about this restaurant. Many of the restaurants I've visited before serve ordinary, smooth yogurt drinks, but this place is rich, as if it's made from yogurt, and has a soft cinnamon aroma that's delicious! That's how it feels. When you're in a place where the drinks are delicious, you generally expect the food to be of good quality as well. And the naan is delicious. There are many restaurants that bake in-house, but the naan here is not only freshly baked, but also has the goodness of wheat, it's fluffy and sweet, and I feel like I can eat it by itself. There are two types of curry for this price. On this day, I had butter chicken and probably a tomato-based curry? The gentle sweetness and sourness of the spiciness made me want to eat the naan endlessly. The staff were polite and friendly, and I felt at ease, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was more like a Western diner than Asian, and the interior was very relaxing and chic (I also like restaurants with Indian movies playing endlessly inside). This is a great place to have a leisurely lunch! Oh, of course I came with my wife, but she ordered the 5th level of spiciness. It's supposed to be the highest level, but it was still easy enough for me to eat. For those who like spicy food, it's a bit too much. I'll come again! (PS: According to my wife, it wasn't cinnamon that was in the lassi. She said it was like the spices used in the "salty lassi" she had when she was in India! But I had no idea what that was. lol It had a sweet, light smell, though.)
