When I was staying in Sapporo, I went to the Minami 3-jo branch of Conveyor belt sushi Katsuichisen, but there was a 30-minute wait, so I looked at Nikumasu on the first floor of the same building, and found that the counter was a little empty. I was able to take a seat. It cost around 6,000 yen for two people, drinking draft beer and other dishes, as well as an assortment of three kinds of Shiraoi beef and Genghis Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate). The meat was OK, but it was a lively Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) rather than a high-end Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant. I visited on a weekday night, but the place was almost full, giving me a true Susukino feel.
