先日入店。
まったりとした、店内と、まったりとした客。
もちろん、自分も同伴者もまったりとしている。
自分はアイスカフェオレと黒胡椒チキン。
友人はアイスカフェオレ。
この店のアイスカフェオレは、沈殿がきれいなので、なんか芸術的である。
まあ、そんなことを思いながらも、
四人席のテーブルに二人で座る。
モスバーガーは、内装が違うのかマクドナルドと違って、まったり感、静かな感じがある。
これは値段のせいもあるかもしれないが、自分としてはこっちのほうがありがたい。
しかも、どの三度にも野菜が豊富だし。
イートインのグラスはほとんどがガラス。
こういう、些細なクオリティがサービス業なのだろうか、なんて自分は思う。
そんな中、出来立ての黒胡椒チキンが。
このチキンはモスチキンやケンタッキーのオリジナルチキンなどと違って、骨がない。
骨があるのは高級感も少しあるが、代わりにもったいない、めんどくさいというイメージがある。
そういう面では、この黒胡椒チキンは良いもんだと思う。
衣に黒胡椒が入っているのがわかるほど、味は濃い。
しかしながら、その味がこの鶏肉とあっておいしい。
鶏肉はパサつきがなく、ぷりぷりとしている。
こういった、ファーストフード店の肉は、正直言うと、お持ち帰りはしないほうが良いと思う。
出来立ては、おいしく感じるが、さめるほどにおいしくなくなる。
サンド系は冷めてもおいしさを保てるが、チキン単品では難しい。
チキンが冷めると、味が濃くなり、パサ付く。
六時間以上、常温で放っておくと濃すぎで、しかもパサパサして食欲をなくしたことがある。
そういう面で、イートアウトではなくイートインのほうが絶対にいいと思う。
お持ち帰りだとしても、早く食べたほうが味としては良いと思う。
冷めたもの と 出来立てのもの
では、見た感じは同じだが、味はまったくの別物である。
そう思いながらも、黒胡椒チキンを食べていった。
今回ものんびりといさせてもらいました。
