Recommended for various parties and banquets. A long-established Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant loved by the locals for its all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink.
Shimadaya Aso Branch has been in business for 50 years and is popular for its wide variety of Yakiniku (Grilled meat) menu items. The most recommended dish is the "Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a ho |
I decided to go to an all-you-can-eat restaurant with my coworkers again. By the way, last time it was an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant. This time, the pretext was a welcome party and to cool off from the heat. I was looking for a place near Aso and came here, which never fails. This is my second time here. I visited once in the winter and it was also all-you-can-eat. This time, it was only for women, so I chose the Hot Pepper 120-minute → 180-minute all-you-can-eat course with all-you-can-drink for 3,500 yen. There are quite a lot of varieties on the all-you-can-eat menu. Instead, the drink menu is simple. I grill the meat on a charcoal grill. I don't like organ meat, so I have beef sagari, beef belly, and beef ribs. Sometimes I have plum salt and chicken neck. This plum salt flavor resets the other flavors. The fat of the chicken skin and beef belly makes a flame and then puts it down with ice. The belly meat is delicious because it's fat, but it's hard on the stomach to eat it continuously. If you grill the chicken skin until it's just about to burn, it melts away. It's a palate cleanser with salad or white scallions. There are also unusual menus such as green onion mayonnaise ribs. This is delicious when you wrap the grilled kalbi in plenty of green onion mayonnaise. There is also a wide selection of organ meats. There is also salted Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate). Of course, there are plenty of carbohydrates such as Cold Noodles and bibimbap. Since you can't eat meat without limiting your carbohydrate intake, seven people shared the cheese bibimbap. Still, it was very enjoyable. At the end, each person can choose one dessert. There are six types of Soft serve ice cream, and I tried the chocolate mint. It was refreshing after the heavy, oily parts. I wish they included Soft serve ice cream in the all-you-can-drink option (lol).
