北海道内では猛暑日が続き観測史上云々とNEWSになってたが、歳のせいか最近あまり暑さを感じない…当然暑いし汗も出ますが若いころはもっとグッタリしてたような気がする
休日の市内徘徊中そんな暑さに耐えかね北24条駅の近くで飛び込んだのは、結構昔から同じ場所に存在する「フェイマスドア」さん
此処に店があるのは知ってはいたが訪問するのは初
迎えてくれた女性スタッフに「店内とテラス席どちらにしますか？」と聞かれます
日陰のテラス席より店内の方が涼しそうでソファ席へ座りましたが風の流れはなく空気は澱み、冷房の効いていない店内はかなりの暑さ、加えてソファーは革製で肌にべた付きます
喉が渇き先ずはビールですがクラフトビールは一気に飲み干すには辛いので、軽めの「バドワイザー＠600」をオーダー
アテにはちょっと珍しい「フライド キャットフィッシュ＠900」をチョイス
「キャットフィッシュ」は「アメリカナマズ」の事だ
「ナマズ」は生命力が強く世界のほぼ全域に生息しており将来の食糧危機を救うと言われる
食べられている国は多いが日本ではほとんど食べらていない
将来「ウナギ」が絶滅した頃「ナマズ」と「コオロギ」が地球の食糧危機を救う事に成るのかも知れない
少しゆっくりめに15分ほどで到着した「キャットフィッシュ」…カリっと多めの衣で揚げられた白身はクセがなく普通に食べられ若干拍子抜け
お替りのBEERが到着した頃に通しが出される・・・冷え冷えのガラスの器に入った「コールスロー」はマヨ弱めで素材の夏野菜が旨い
２４条のド真ん中を感じさせない上手な店造りだが、冷房設備が無いようなので暑い昼間の訪問は避けた方が無難
夜のテラス席が雰囲気良さげでカップルにお薦め
