I went to Gyukaku Kita 24jo Branch on September 19th. This is probably my third visit. I went to this casual Steak, but the shutters were closed when I got there... I checked the reservation status online the day before, and it was open, but... What a shame. I parked my car in a paid parking lot, so I wandered around the neighborhood. It's been a while since I've been to Gyukaku, and we went at 8pm with two people. First, we checked the drinks... I can't drink that much soft drinks, and my partner drinks alcohol (lol). The unlimited drinks plan is a bit too bad for the cost. In the end, we just had oolong tea. The lit charcoal is delivered to the table when the drinks are served. It's commonly known as sawdust. It's very versatile for charcoal grilling in restaurants. The far infrared effect is also outstanding. Well, it doesn't last long, but it's fine for about 90 minutes. Gyukaku replaced the charcoal every 60 minutes. It's very considerate. Food ordered: ・ Cow tongue with green onions 990 yen There is a higher-grade version, thick-sliced top-grade tongue salt for 1243 yen, but this one has no green onions (lol). There is also Cow tongue salt for 913 yen without green onion topping (not much?), but as a green Cow tongue sauce enthusiast, green onion beef tongue salt is a must (lol) It's a difference of 77 yen. Hmm. There is more green onion sauce than I thought... I can't use it all up with 5 thinly sliced Cow tongue. In addition, I ordered additional Cow tongue salt for 913 yen. Finally used up the green onion sauce. Thick-sliced top-grade tongue salt is good, but thinly cut tongue is also quite good. Ah, but how do Gyukaku's tongues get the same round shape as the product? If you want to enjoy green onion sauce, thinly sliced tongue is the answer. ・Aged top loin Steak 979 yen A menu with today's theme, Steak. The store staff said to refer to the tablet for cooking instructions. The menu guide says it is aged for 30 days. Certainly some parts are rotten (lol) Beef is edible raw, but you don't know how much you can heat it. Gyukaku's menu guide says to cook it thoroughly even for crisis management reasons. I want Steak to be rare. In the end, I have no choice but to cook it myself... This is the menu. You cook the meat yourself, put it in an aluminum dish, and then transfer it to a tray with garlic and beef fat, and it's done. It's a bit tricky. Rich and delicious Sakura Yukhoe 913 yen This time, it can be eaten raw. In 2013, it was 830 yen. The price increase is quite reasonable. I don't think there was sesame oil on the table... I wonder if you can get it if you request it. Bonchiri Salt Sauce 495 yen Here, I order chicken. For some reason, it's called "ponpochi" in Hokkaido. I used to (really) only see it in some Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) shops, but recently it's lined up in supermarkets, so it's become quite mainstream. Addictive Salt Cabbage 319 yen This is my favorite at Gyukaku. There is a product with the same name in supermarkets under the Gyukaku brand, but it's not the same thing (lol) ・Rice (large) 385 yen Rice is a must when eating Yakiniku (Grilled meat). Ah, but the rice smells a bit...too bad ・Maple-scented Pon de Vanilla 275 yen ・Rice for Kalbi (medium) 429 yen I wonder if the price has gone up more than I thought it would, considering the recent price hikes in the world. I wonder if they're adjusting it based on the volume of meat? Thank you for the meal.
