北海道旅行中。
予約をしておいたので行列を無視して店内へ。
なかなかの並びだったし、呑みも兼ねたお店だったので回転率があまりよろしくない。これは、予約で正解だった。
まぐろ三昧 本マグロ＆ネギトロタワー丼1850円
丼ものは並盛と小盛が選べるのだが、違いはご飯の量だった。どちらも値段が変わるわけではないから、まあそりゃそうだよね。
5切れほどの赤身な本鮪がベロのように外側に広がり、ペースト状にされた拳大のネギトロがその上にでんっと乗せられている。
このネギトロ、キメ細やかと言えば聞こえは良いが本格的なこ削ぎとったものでは全くない。食べていくと、腹がタプタプになるタイプのアレだ。鮮魚店を謳っていながらにしてのコレは、私には残念に思える。
やや面長の本鮪の切り身は、見た目こそ筋がはっきりと確認できる代物だったが、口にしたところで特に気にはならなかった。たしかに味は悪くない。ただ、ネギトロ爆弾をやっつけるのに苦労するので、こちらは思いのほか呆気なく終わってしまい、どうにも感覚的には少なく感じられる。
まぐろ三昧というわりに、ネギトロに比重を掛けすぎている。
そういうわけで、ベロッと出てるインパクト以外に満足できる部分は少なかった。
高級キンキの出汁を別途注文する。165円
急須型の容器で来るので、どのタイミングで頼んでも大丈夫は大丈夫。後は冷めるか冷めないかの問題だ。思いのほか量は多く、以外とご飯が多めに残っていても制圧できる。
味は良かったと思う。味変にもなるし、ご飯を持て余して流し込むには最適解かな。
