車で移動してふらりとみよしのに寄る。みよしのセット660円。カレーライスと焼き餃子6個と浅漬けが出てくる。注文から配膳までは早い。餃子は焼きたてで、カレーに入れて食べる。安心の味だな〜、やはりルーカレーはこれだ！自分はもう半世紀ぎょうざカレーを食べている。北海道内でも札幌近郊と旭川くらいしかみよしのはないので、北海道民のソウルフードとは言い難い。幸い自分は人生のほとんどをみよしのと共に過ごしてきたので、ぎょうカレー230円の時代から食べており、身体は餃子とカレーでできていると言っても良い。餃子自体は王将よりあっさり目で、カレーは野菜がみじん切りで入っているもので、スパイシーではないが安心できる味。しかし、この餃子とカレーは抜群の相性でぎょうざカレーとなったときの美味さは倍増するのだ。もちろんみよしの以外の餃子とカレーでも試したことがあるが、本家の味にはならない。ぎょうざカレーはお店で食べるものである。東京の知り合い2人にも勧めて食べたことがあるが、両名とも納得のおいしさだった。
