【2019年10月28日初訪問】
前日の10月27日、飼っている2匹のミニチュアダックスのうち17歳の方が、後ろ足に力が入らなくなり歩けなくなってしまいました。
詳細は省きますが、翌日かかりつけ病院でステロイドとビタミン剤投与をしながら一泊入院することになりました。
しかしながら目の病気でほぼ全盲なワンコでもあるので、ケージに入れられたまま一晩泊まるのは無理かも知れないねと我々も先生も思っていて、鳴きわめくようなら連絡を貰うことにして日中妻が病院に預けました。
その日夜になり私が退社する少し前に妻から電話があり、案の定病院から電話が来て入院は無理な感じなので迎えに来て貰い、翌日から通院で治療を行うようにしましょうと言われたそうです。
午後の診療時間は16時から19時までの病院ですが、担当医からは外来が少なくとも20時までは間違いなくかかりそうなので、20時以降に来てくださいとも言われたそうです。
なので普段通り勤務先から地下鉄で南郷7丁目まで戻り、そこで妻と待ち合わせしてどこかで晩ご飯を済ませてからワンコを迎えに行くことにしました。
※ちなみにワンコの現在ですが、かかりつけ病院と鍼治療を行っている病院で併用治療を行い、日常生活に支障の無いレベルに回復して家の中をとことこ歩いています。(^-^)
前置きが長くなりましたが、久しぶりにスープカレーを食べたい気分だったので、以前から気になっていた国道12号線沿いの『スープカレー専門店 エスパーイトウ 白石中央店』を初訪問しました。
勤務先から比較的近い八軒には、こちらのお店の本店があり車で通る度に駐車場はいつも数台車が停まっているので、なかなかの人気店だと思いますが未訪問です。
白石中央店店舗向かって右横のスペースに車を停めて店内に入りました。
席数が比較的多くゆったした店内、先客2組が食事中でした。
自分はエスパーの海(税込1.496円・オリジナルスープの為追加料金なし)辛さ3番追加料金なし+空知産ななつぼし大盛り300g(+税込53円)+ゆずラッシー(税込396円)、妻はエスパーバーグ(税込1,265円・濃厚海老スープ追加料金税込105円)辛さ1番追加料金なし+空知産ななつぼし小盛り120g(-30円)+ブルーベリーラッシー(税込396円)を注文しました。
待つこと10分少々で料理が提供されました。
今まで食べたスープカレーでは、閉店してしまいましたが本郷通で営業していた『亜細亜カリーてら家』が夫婦共通歴代1位のお気に入りでした。
しかし今回エスパーイトウのスープカレーを食べて、純粋に味だけの評価だと自分は歴代1位を与えます♪
妻はてら家の方が未だ1位とのことでしたが、スープの出汁感・甘味・辛味・酸味のバランスがとても良く大変気に入りました。(^q^)
接客やお店の雰囲気その他総合評価だと他店に軍配が上がりますが、ここは今後何度か再訪して他の具材がメインのカレーや違うベースのスープでも味わってみたいと思いました。
