札幌出張の際、宿泊した『ルネッサンスサッポロ』の中にある日本料理店です。
このホテルは開業してから20年以上経っているようですが、古さは全く感じません。
清潔で、嫌みの無いゴージャス感…マリオットグループですから一流ホテルになるんでしょうが、それに相応しい佇まいと雰囲気です。
私の注文は【花城膳（宿泊者のみ）3800円也＋ずわい蟹・海老・穴子・野菜の天婦羅2000円也＋ホテル自慢の茶碗蒸し900円也】です。
宿泊者には割引があるようで、とても得した気分です。
出された料理はコースのように順番に出してもらいました。
通された部屋は間仕切りの6人掛けテーブルで、窓からはライトアップされた豊平川を見ることができます。
これを1人で独占していますので、贅沢な気分です。
当店の他のレビューにもあるように、食べログはホテル内のレストランには手厳しい採点が多いように思いますが、個人店では行き届かない従業員教育、凝った調度品や美しさ、個人店では当たり前である常連客と一見客とのあからさまな差別と態度の違いなどが感じられず、私は出来るならホテルで食べたいと思う方です。
出されたどの料理も大変上品な味です…全てが平均点以上。
当店自慢の『札幌玉葱茶碗蒸し雲丹添え』は、焼き餅にチーズや雲丹が添えられている凝った趣向ですが、上品過ぎて私には味が薄く感じたものの、器や料理はとても美しいもの。
その他、天婦羅は油の良さが感じられ、とても美味しかったです。
特に穴子が絶品でした。
この穴子と海老は特別に付け加えて頂いたもの。
我が儘な要望に快く応えて頂いた男性スタッフの方に感謝です。
当店の特筆すべき点は、ホテルの中にありながら、小さくも立派な庭園があるんです。
見ることの出来る部屋は限られているようですが、豊平川も併せて見ることが出来、何とも風情があります。
この庭園も我が儘を言って特別に見せてもらいました。
また絶対再訪したいお店が増えました。
