札幌市豊平区、国道36号沿いのカレーカレーハウス CoCo壱番屋。
店舗の前に駐車スペースあり。
日曜日の１３時過ぎ。
暑くて、食欲も湧いてこない・・・
何となくカレーな気分で、こちらへ。
店内は広め、オープンキッチンな厨房、その前にカウンター席。
窓側にはテーブル席の配置。
「おひとり様、カウンターへどうぞ！」と案内される。
手仕込みチキンカツが終売という悲しいお知らせがエントランスに張り出されていた。
何を食べたらよいのか迷っていると。。。
メニューに数量限定「THE牛カレー」を見つける。
美味そう、メニュー写真に一目ぼれした。
■数量限定「THE牛カレー」 １０３０円
しばし待ち、登場したカレーは漆黒の深みのある色あい。
角切りな牛肉がいくつか入った本格的な欧風カレーの様相です。
ライスは普通サイズの３００g。
辛さは普通。
焙煎したようなルーはコクあり深み感じさせる。
旨味と甘みと熟成。
辛味は足りないので、カウンターに用意されている辛味パウダーを投下する。
一気にシャープな辛味が加わる。
牛肉は柔らかくて、変な筋膜なくて食べやすい。
十分満足できるくらいの量が含まれていた。
肉倍量というメニューもあったがデフォルトで満足できた。
■サラダ １４０円
レタス、キャベツ、コーンのシンプルサラダ。
ドレッシングは３種提供してくれるので好みのものでいただけます。
次回はパリパリチキンにほうれん草あたりを攻めたいな。
