焼き鳥八ちょょ English: Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) The restaurant is named after it's on 8th Street, isn't it? Two of us in Asahikawa My wife's birthday is in Asahikawa Last night we had a pre-festival in Sapporo Today we went mountain climbing at Lake Shikotsu Despite the bad weather forecast, they chose a mountain that wasn't forecast to be cloudy We somehow managed to get to the hotel in time for our reservation and had a wonderful celebration For the past few times, we've ended up having just one birthday dinner spot I understand what happened in Asahikawa last time, it was a restaurant that you could get to by taxi But in Sapporo it was in the city I was so grateful that I said "I can't do this anymore" This time we're also far from the city What's more, the hotel is in the same direction I have a feeling we'll end up having just one again I saw a light near the hotel I forced my wife to get closer And then I forced her in If it had been anyone else, she might have been sued But if there was still no seat available I'd have to give up There was an available seat She said "please take that seat" It was an embarrassing table for two Well, compared to the elegance of the first place it was a laughable environment The problem was that the previous person's dishes hadn't been cleared away間と一緒にんこうちゃってますね。 English: A waiter came over in a hurry and said, "Please wait a moment." The amount of edamame was a bit confrontational. He said he thought the edamame beans weren't boiled enough, but it didn't seem like he was complaining just because they weren't boiled enough. My wife said, "I want to eat oden." There was a banner that said oden outside, so I almost forced her in. It's not the kind of oden I like, so my wife ate it. She ate it normally. I wanted chicken skin, chicken or pork, but I didn't have room in my stomach. Well, I should have just gone home. I've come all the way to Asahikawa and I don't have time to pick up any more tomorrow, so I feel like I need to pick up as many as I can. The chicken skin is smoky. That's within the store, but this is probably a no-no. It's so hard I feel like I could hurt my mouth. It's like dried chicken skin that's been grilled. It's a terrible food. It's salty. If I were to rate it based on this chicken skin, I'd lose a score. I can't do that because this is the only thing I've eaten. Well, it was a smoky restaurant.
