JR函館本線 森駅で下車します。
跨線橋から駒ヶ岳をのぞむ風景は絶景と言っていいんじゃないでしょうか。
駅を出たすぐの所にある『柴田商店』。
入口横の退色したベンチ、ストーブの煙突、窓のすりガラス。
映画のセットのような昭和そのもの。
全国的に有名な『いかめし』ですが、デパートの物産展ではなく現地で買うことができて感無量です。
ちなみに『柴田商店』はあくまで販売店で、製造元は400mほど離れた『いかめし阿部商店』なんですね。
実物を手に取ると、脳内であたためていたイメージよりかなり小ぶりなサイズです。
デビュー当時から変わってなさそうなパッケージデザインが、昭和好きの心を揺さぶります（笑）
蓋を開けるとぷっくりとご飯が詰まったいかが二杯。かぶりつくと身が綺麗に輪切りになるのが面白いです。
艶っぽい甘辛さが染みた身の中には旨味をたたえたもっちりご飯。
素朴の極致というか、引き算の美学というか、そういうものを感じます。
