This is a soba restaurant that my parents have wanted to go to for a long time. Today I went with my mother. It's already June, but when I think about it, this is the first time I've been to a soba restaurant this year! This soba restaurant is located at the end of National Route 5, after turning towards the mountains at Okusawa Jujigai. It's a fairly quiet area even in Otaru. Apparently Tempura is delicious. There are counter and table seats as well as a raised area. I ordered the easy-to-Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) from the lunch menu (1,060 yen). The soba noodles were quite watery. I prefer something a bit crisper, so the soba noodles were not really my favorite. The Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) is delicious. Tempura was fried just right and crispy. It's also nice that you can order individual Tempura dishes for around 50 to 150 yen each. I learned for the first time that Maruju is a type of sweet potato. It's a self-service establishment, but you can drink as much coffee as you like, which is a nice service. Thank you for the meal~♪
