《 2017年02月 初訪 》
支笏湖温泉商店街にある喫茶店である。
商店街の中通りにあるのだが、向かいには以前に紹介した「カフェアウル」がある。
支笏湖氷濤まつりを見に来たついでに立ち寄った・・・というよりも、支笏湖ブルーが楽しめる昼の部と、ライトアップを楽しむ夜の部の間の休憩タイムとして利用した。
店内に入ると入り口周辺は物販コーナーのようになっており、さまざまなモノが置かれている。
建物の右手側半分はカフェフロアーになっているが、数人が座れるカウンターと、テーブル席が２卓のみというこじんまりした感じで、おそらくは１０人も入ると窮屈な感じかもしれない。
カウンター席には４人のグループと思われる男性が座っていたので、一人テーブル席に陣取る。
メニューはそれほど豊富な感じでは無いが、まあ、コーヒーを飲みに来ただけだからね・・・と、コーヒーを注文。
しばし待って提供される。
店主と思われる関西弁を操る初老の男性は、先客の４人組と話を咲かせていたが、関西人の見本のようなマシンガントーク。
正直、店の造りのまったりとした雰囲気とはややそぐわない気も。
店内の設えから考えると、高倉健か田中邦衛のような寡黙な主人が似合いそうだ。
間もなくして先客はご退場、店内は私ひとりとなり、ここからはまったりタイム・・・と思いきや、カップの中のコーヒーも無くなり、店を後にした。
