大正9年(1920年)に岩見沢で創業し、大正14年(1925年)から今の三笠幾春別で営業しているらしい100年食堂(蕎麦屋さん)。
ただ、三代目店主の健康上の理由と建物の老朽化から一時期閉店していたが令和3年から後継者が決まり営業再開したとのこと。だからなのか？店内はJAZZが流れ、SNSやQR決済OKでギャップも。
※調べると、４代目は旭川出身で東京調布にもお店を4店舗持つ経営者らしいです。
歴史感じる外観。
駐車場はないが、店の前の道路は駐車禁止ではないので駐車OKとのこと。この辺の緩さがいいですね。
平日11:20訪問で先客2組数名程。あと客は3組数名。
店内も昭和感ある雰囲気でいいですね。
店の人におすすめを聞くと、｢かしわそば」と｢天とじそば」との事。また、｢天ぷらは昔から具材はほうれん草のみを使用した看板メニュー」との事で、
オーダーは
◆｢天とじそば(850円)」
約10分弱で着丼。
蕎麦は店名通りの更科。
白い更科蕎麦は、かなり柔らかく暖かいつゆでいただくと煮麺にも近い感じ。
つゆは、節系とやや濃い甘の醤油のバランスが好み。
天ぷらは、説明通り具材はほうれん草のみだが、これはこれでふわっと食感で好み。ただ、事前に知らなければ、やや戸惑いますね。
かなりの常連さんと思われる年輩のご夫婦は当然のように
｢らーめん｣をオーダーしてましたが、らーめんが品切れ(本日は用意なし)でやや驚かれてました。品切れはかなり珍しい様です。
全体的には、昭和感抜群の100年食堂で美味しい蕎麦をいただけ満足でした。
次回、機会があれば是非「らーめん」を食してみたいです。
丼ぶり系も気になります。
