岩見沢のほんだは、かなりお洒落なお店だ。滝川の本店には何度か行った。滝川本店はカントリー風のお店、岩見沢店は林の横のモダンなお店だ。店内もモダンだ。その分少し値段はお高めなのかな。いちごが乗って側面がチョコのケーキ（500円台）とアップルパイを買う。ケーキはイチゴがのるが中には入っていない。あっさり目のケーキに思えるが側面のチョコと混ぜるとチョコのパンチでいい味になる。アップルパイはサクサク感とバターが効いたパイがうまい。リンゴは少なめだけと酸味のあるリンゴはうまい。滝川はもともとリンゴの産地なので、ほんだはリンゴ菓子が原点。岩見沢も毛陽町がりんごの産地なので、もっとりんご菓子を出してほしい。
