日曜日のランチで訪問です。
白老町に来て、ウポポイでアイヌ文化に触れまして、こちらでランチをいただこうと。
お店は札幌方面からくると白老市街に入る道とバイパスの分かれ道のすぐ手前に立地しています。
店前に車を止めるとレストランの棟と売店（肉屋さん）が並んでいます。レストラン内は木造り風の感じで、宅それぞれに肉を焼くための木炭用コンロを入れる切り込みが。いかにも焼肉に特化した良い感じのお店ですね。
ランチ時間に訪問したので、３つの種類があるランチ焼肉盛り合わせから、2,200円のと4,400円のとを１つずつオーダーして二人でシェアすることに。それから牛肉ベーコンと牛肉ソーセージも単品で頼みました。
まずはベーコン・ソーセージが。牛肉で作られているので風味は一般のそれとは全然違い、面白いのですが、自分はやはりこれらは豚肉の方がいいなあ、というのが正直な感想。決して不味くはないのですけれども。
ランチの焼肉盛り合わせはとても秀逸。高品質な白老牛の色々な部位が並べられ、どれから食べようか迷う迷う。サシ入りのカルビなどはジューシーこの上ない。自分、白老牛はモモ肉が好きなのですが、期待に違わない旨さでありまして、6,600円で食べられると言うことで考えると、実は物凄い高コスパだよな、と。他店だったら10,000以上とられてもおかしくない品質と感じました。
これでも昔より高くなったとのうわさがありますが、今の価格でも決して損しない、どころかめちゃくちゃお得なのではないでしょうか。是非また、訪問したいです。
