月曜日の昼時11時に単身伺いました。
先客１組・後客５組です。
予約なしで伺ったのですが、「テーブル席とカウンターどちらでも」とのことなので、９席あるカウンター席のひとつに。
注文は「白老牛ファームレストランセット (2,420円・税込)」です。
ステーキ単独で食べてみたかったのですが、やっぱり高いなぁって感じてしまったので…。
⚪前菜…野菜のジュレ&白老牛のお鮨を岩塩で
⚪スープ…お肉のユッケジャンスープ味噌仕立て

⚪メイン…ステーキ&ハンバーグ&カルビスプーン盛り&野菜焼きが鉄板プレートで提供されます。
お肉類は、塩 ・ショウガ・ステーキソースの３種類を好みに応じて使い分けます。
３切れのステーキは赤身です。サーロイン等のいわゆるいい部位はステーキ単独メニューで使用されるので、それ以外の部位がセットメニューで使われるのでしょう。焼き加減はミディアムレアで少し赤色が残っています。味は普通です。
ハンバーグはやや崩れやすいので、食べるのに気を遣うかもしれません。柔らかい食感が好きな人にはいいかもしれません。
結局、スプーンに盛られたカルビの薄切りが最も美味しく感じました。
洗練された高級感の漂うお店の雰囲気で、スタッフさんの接客も心地よいものだったし、老舗でもあるので、白老牛を提供するお店は他にもあれども、「どこにする？」ってことになれば、こちらが選択肢の上位に来るのは間違いのないところだと思います。ただ、そのよさを満喫するには、少々お高くてもステーキを試してみるべきだと感じました。
