初訪問は土曜日の12時過ぎ。場所はJR三ノ宮駅西口を北へ出て北野坂を北へ、最初の信号の山手幹線の手前、たろうラーメンの角を西へ、くの字に進んで、信号のある山手幹線を越えてハンター坂を北へ、次のパールストリートとの交差点の北東の角にお店があります。駅から10分弱くらいです。
お店はビルになっていて外から見ただけではオフィスビルのようにも見えますが、近づくと営業時間の表示があります。階段を上り大きな扉を引くと中にケーキのショーケースが見えてケーキ屋さんだと分かります。店内レジは3名で対応、奥の厨房にも3名が見えました。
店内の照明は暗めですがショーケースだけまるで宝石店のように強い照明が当たっているのが印象的です。2階はカフェになっています。この日はアヴァンギャルド2個を買ってPAYPAYでお支払いをして退店しました。先客後客はなしです。
