Pretend to be Michelin-starred for dinner at [Chinese Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Kou Return]. I went on a short trip to Kobe for 1 night and 2 days. Checked in at Villa Fontaine Kobe Sannomiya (⇒ http://nara-osaka-gourmet.com/blog-entry-1369.html) and headed to the dinner place... For dinner, I went to [Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Izakaya Kosairai], which I had been interested in based on the reviews on Tabelog. There were several candidates, but I was looking for a Chinese Cuisine restaurant that I could take my little kids with, so when I inquired about it, the mom on the phone was really nice, so I decided on it. Although it is in a good location, a 3-minute walk from Sannomiya Station on each line, it is not facing the street and is located at the back of a snack building. Dachin. It is unlikely that you will come across this store unless you do some research or are introduced to it. This is a small and homely restaurant run by a Chinese couple. It was Friday at 7:30 pm, prime time, but there were only a few customers. Eating out with a 2-year-old is always a bit chilly, but since the owner and his wife had a child (one year older than Chibi) at the restaurant, I didn't have to worry about it. The interior looks like a local Cafeterias, with table seating only. It seems that it is OK to use it as a semi-private room by partitioning it with a curtain. The taste is goo. The owner, a chef, trained at a long-established Chinese Cuisine restaurant and has 30 years of experience. The overall taste is gentle, but the dish still retains just the right amount of authentic flavor. Century egg tofu, Bang Bang chicken, stewed pig's feet in soy sauce, soup Gyoza / Dumpling, xiao long bao fried Ramen, shark fin Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), mabo tofu, sweet and sour pork, shrimp and chili sauce. Dim sum is also hand-wrapped after you order it. No matter what I ate, I didn't miss anything, and if I could, I would have liked to complete all of the dishes, but I couldn't because of my stomach (cry) The response was as good as I expected on the phone, and the mom was always paying attention to the little one. They gave me Yakult for the kids, asked me if I wanted some juice... and made small talk with me in a friendly manner. The food, the people, the price... everything was great. It was a restaurant that had all the elements that I wanted to come back to again!
