取引先の元巨漢3人衆と1年に1回の
定期的な懇親の場を持っています。
一昨年が焼肉、昨年が鳥焼きでし
たので今年は色々と悩みましたが、
塊肉にしました。
神戸の塊肉といえば「ビストロギャロ」
ですが、最近、吉祥寺の人気店「肉山」
が出来たので、こちらも捨てがたく、
私たちの参加メンバーである
・超肉食系女子
にセレクトしてもらい決めました。
なお、経理バカ猿は何でもいい人なので、
確認する必要もありません。
早速、店に予約の電話を入れました。
予約が取れない場合、2号店の
「ギャロバンガロー」や3号店の
「ギャロガレージ」もありますが、
早かったこともあり本店での予約が
完了しました。
予約日の数日前に一人追加したいとの
要望を受けて店に電話するも6人が
限界との事で諦め、当日を迎えました。
三宮駅の西口からすぐですが、ビル
の8階という決して恵まれた立地で
はありません。
しかし、驚いたことに、店に入ると
既に満席でした。
私たちは6人掛けのテーブルに、
体重のバランスが合うように3人づつ
別れて座りました。
結構狭く、人数追加を断られたのが理解
出来ます。もし一人増えていたら、
とんでもないことになっていました。
早速、ドリンクをオーダーしました。
ビールの種類は豊富ですが、基本、
ワインが中心のメニューです。
1軒目からワインを飲むと意識がなく
なる可能性があるため、私はハイボール
にしました。
ドリンクがすぐに運ばれてきましたが、
ハイボールのサイズにびっくり！！
これは小さい！！
案の定、3秒ほどで飲み干してしまい、
おかわり！！
店の方に
「もっと量の多いドリンクありませんか？」
とききましたが、あっさりと
「Nｏ！！」
仕方がないので、この後、何度もおかわり
しました。
料理の方ですが、基本おまかせでお願い
しましたが、
肉の部位のみセレクトさせて頂けます。
なお、セレクトする際に
300ｇの部位を4種類ほどが適量である
と店員からアドバイスを受けました。
牛の絵が描かれた部位メニューの中から
脂身よりも赤身中心とし、
・ヘレ300ｇ
・イチボ300ｇ
・熟成タン300ｇ
と最後は実家が肉屋のミドル級の会計士が、
・ランプ300ｇ
をオーダーしました。
肉の焼けるのを待っている間に、
・パン&牛肉のリエット
・海老ソーセージ&鶏ハム
・野菜盛り合わせ
・パテドカンパーニュ
・トマト&モッツｱレラチーズ
の登場です。どれも肉の旨みが
感じれるものです。
早速、皆が手を付けようとします
が、
「待て！」と私が制します。
写真を撮らなければなりませんから。
そして一通り、撮り終わったので、
「よし！！」の合図で食べ始めました。
皆、食べ盛りのおっさんたちですから、
一瞬にして料理がなくなります。
そうなると酒を飲むしかなく、
ついつい飲みすぎてしまう負の連鎖が！！
酒ばかりが進みましたが、ようやく
メインの肉の登場です。
これは凄い！！6人分の肉塊は、
迫力満点です。こんな量を食べられる
のだろうかと思います。
超肉食系女子がナイフで切り分けますが、
牛の解体ショーにしか見えない光景です。
早速、切られてサイコロ上になった肉塊
を食べました。
旨い！！赤身最高！！
あれだけの量がありましたが、ここも
完食しました。
肉食の強者ばかりであることを忘れて
いました。
私たちなら牛一頭を食べつくすことも
無理ではないでしょう！！
ここで店員もびっくりの、
まさかの追加オーダーですが、肉は
焼くのに時間を要します。また当店は
パスタなどの炭水化物を一切取り扱って
いませんから、
(3号店のギャロガレージのみナポリタン有)
仕方なく、
・えび&ポークのソーセージ
を頼みました。当然、ここも一瞬にして
完食です。
プロレスラーの来店のように、
これ以上、居続けますと閉店せざるを
得なくなるので、
今日はこの辺にしといたろ！！と店を
出ました。
噂にきく肉塊優良店です。
但し、ドリンクの値段はかなり高め！
アドバイスしますと、ワインをボトルで
オーダーしてゆっくり飲みながら、
肉が焼けるまで、ソーセージや野菜を
食べて待つのが良いと思います。
私たちのように、がぶ飲みする店では
ありません。
